Sania falls to the No. 14 seed in Round 2: 7-5 1-6 2-6
Disappointment for Sania Mirza fans as she just fell to 14th seeded Francesca Schiavone (pictured at top during her first round match); hey, that's why she was the No. 14 seed (and, if I'm not mistaken (still checking), the US Open follows the WTA rankings in this.) Sania can breathe for a few, then scoot over to court 8 for her doubles round 1, which is scheduled fourth as the second match is currently in progress. Still, good job, Sania, go for it!
Serena v Hantuchova will follow some clowns still funbling out there; I tell you, some people just don't know when it's time to take a seat for the real players.
