WNBA July 28th, 29th and 30th indications recast

July 28th Scores

Sacramento at Connecticut: indications on: unfortunately, there are only too few games when the team that plays with the most skill (rather than force) is rewarded for doing so. This, however, was one: Sac had 23 personal fouls to Conn only 11; Sac made only 7 free throws to Conn's 17. If you have the misfortune to open the WNBA's official boxscore page, you'll see the statistical graphics pretty much even in all other categories.

Phoenix at San Antonio: indications off. I reserve comment momentarily.

Minnesota at Chicago: indications off: Minn had big problems: Minn lost.

Detroit at Seattle: indications on: the webcast announcers made much ado of the injury situation of Seattle in their valiant but losing effort; let's leave it at that for the moment.

July 29th Scores

New York at Charlotte: indications off: Charlotte, not Charlotte.

Washington at Indiana: indications on, with great defense by Washington (Indiana, ha, clinched a playoff berth anyway, haha.)

July 30th Scores

San Antonio at Connecticut: indications on: but though SA lost, they matched the intensity of their opponent. What would happen if they dug down past their antics?

Minnesota at New York: indications off: NY is beginning to see that overemphasis on one player can stifle a team's real potential; Minn is moving toward the same mistake.

Houston at Phoenix: indication off.

Los Angeles at Seattle: indications on: LA clinched the regular season Western conference title: that's a mark of a contender.

Indiana at Chicago: indications on.

Charlotte at Washington: indications off: Charlotte, still not Charlotte; bricked 9 free throws in a game to allow them to remain in playoff contention.

Detroit at Sacramento: indication off.
