WNBA July 14th, 15th and 16th indications recast

July 14th

San Antonio at Charlotte: indications off: oops, Charlotte closed with great defense (but 18 turnovers). Box Score

Los Angeles at Phoenix: indications off: I'm kinda' laughing at my saying "Phoenix has the higher motivation", as I was reminded that it's still ultimately a matter of performance. Box Score

Houston at Chicago: indications on. Box Score

New York at Seattle: indications on. Box Score

July 15th

Connecticut at Sacramento: indications off. I'm hoping Conn gained something from this one: do not tell your opponent that they are the world champions only because one of your starters was not 100% Box Score

Indiana at Charlotte: indications on: Charlotte did close this one with field goals made to attempts at 44.3% to Indiana's 32.2%. At the close of the game, Charlotte had only 8 total turnovers. Box Score

July 16th

Los Angeles at Minnesota: indications off: LA with a total 8 turnovers to Minn's 18. Box Score

San Antonio at Detroit: indications on: SA must have watched the tape of the Houston game (and remembered last year) and defended Ruth Riley well, but just totally forgot about the other four starters. Box Score

Houston at Indiana: indications on: Houston didn't win, but Indiana won by only 4 points. I expected something more emphatic. Box Score

Washington at Chicago: indications off, despite the notable performance by Stacey Dales of the Windy City. Chicago bricked 11 free throws, yes, free throws. Box Score

New York at Phoenix: indications on: NY had no chance. Box Score

Connecticut at Seattle: indications off: so Conn was able to split the West road swing 1-1 after all. They showed confidence against the assault in the lair here in the West. Box Score
