Marion Jones becomes US fastest woman again
The title is bestowed on the winner of the 100 meter competition, so Marion Jones, winner of the 100 m at this weekend's AT&T USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, has regained her national crown. As I walked to my seat at the Comets v Juggernaut game Sunday, one widescreen tuned to the Nationals on ESPN2 seemed to show Allyson Felix (who is?) taking a victory lap holding an American flag behind her, but news sources indicate she withdrew from her finals with injury and illness.
