WNBA Finals: Sacramento 2, Detroit 2: Game Last

It's not women's play, it is play as the finals in the league goes the distance.

Initially- at the outset, at first impression- one would say the odds are say 7 to 3 for Sacramento in the final game. Sacramento took the first game in the first venue of the conference semi-finals (at home, no second game there in the series). Sacramento then took the first game in the second venue of the conference semis (at Houston, no third game needed.) Sacramento won the first game of the first venue of the conference finals (at home, no second game there in the series) and the first game of the second venue in the conference finals (at LA, no second game needed.)

In the finals, Sacramento took the first game of the first venue (at Detroit), then did not, or could not, maintain focus during the second game: Sac 1, Detroit 1. Sacramento took the first game of the second venue (at home), then did not, or could not, maintain focus for Wednesday night's game: Sac 2, Detroit 2.

Thus, Sacramento need but take the first game of this change back to Detroit where, like for LA in the conference finals, the game will not be in the usual home facility (the Palace at Auburn Hills where Mariah Carey is scheduled) but in downtown Motown (Joe Lewis Arena.) Easy enough.

But- big but- your opponent learns. The tide has turned in favor of the, this time, far less cocky of the two teams: the underdoggs. At left from left: Kara Lawson, Nicole Powell, Hamchetou Maiga-Ba: adapted against in game 4.
