US ends Athens IAAF World Cup in 4


On day 2 of the IAAF World Cup on Sunday, September 17th, (results) US women earned one gold (Sanya Richards 200 meters), one silver (4x400 meter relay) and two bronze medals (Virginia Powell 100 meter hurdles and Amy Acuff tied in high jump.) That was good enough for fourth place in the meet, behind (in order from first place) Russia, the combined team of Europe and the combined team of the Americas.
