I was hoping that, at some point, the US mainstream might catch up to Tatiana Golovin (in black), and that they did Labor Day: all six minutes of her serve for the match against Anna Chakvetadze. I could have missed something, but it was the only extended coverage of women's play I caught in the 21 hours of CBS coverage of the Open over the extended weekend. Could someone be openly smarting from the naming of the Flushing Meadows, New York facility as the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center?
