2006 FIBA World Championship for Women: Day 6

You might not want to look at day 6 results: mighty Russia down again, by two points to the Czech Republic. box score Maria Stepanova 28 points (with only 2 turnovers WNBA); Eva Viteckova of the Czech Republic 25 points (with only 1 turnover WNBA.) Australia defeated Brazil to remain undefeated in the tournament, China defeated Cuba, Spain defeated Canada. USA 34 points over France. And it's not that US play is ho-hum, but, to the contrary, given the men's result at their tournament (bronze medal), there is no way anybody will touch them this year! Dream on world!
